Meet Yozelin Rivera

Hi, I'm Yozelin, a self-taught artist from Virginia Beach, Virginia. I specialize in acrylic paintings, though sometimes I dabble in other media like traditional pencil drawing.

Ever since I was a kid, I've always loved making things. I took every possible opportunity to put crayons or markers to printer paper, scrounging things up and stuffing them in a binder that would later become a time capsule for my creative spark. As I've gotten older, my passion has only grown, and I'm especially fortunate to have my endeavors supported and emboldened by those most significant in my life.

Though I have no formal fine arts education or training, I attribute my progress and development to years of hard work and dedication. I'm eager to continue blossoming as a creative and sharing my work with others in the hopes that it can evoke the same feelings of reflection and nostalgia in them that it does in me.
